Lochbuie, Mull. Lochbuie (Scottish Gaelic: Locha Buidhe, meaning “yellow loch”) is a settlement on the island of Mull in Scotland about 22 km west of Craignure. Torosay Castle. Torosay Castle is a large house situated miles south of Craignure on the Isle of Mull, in the Scottish Inner Hebrides.. As the title suggests, we will be driving from Oban to Lochaline for the ferry to Isle of Mull. This is for a trip in early April. Our plan is as follows: drive from Oban to Glencoe (via the coastal route); Spend some time there. Drive from Glencoe to Corran for the ferry to Ardgour. drive from Ardgour to Lochaline.
